.Her glances —as love,I was the one who translated them. That theymeant nothing at all —she was the onewho said it!
.The flower stayed in bloomup to the line,“It’s not that I don’t like you.”At the line,“I don’t haveany such feelingfor you,”I wilted too!
.“Not interested” —once that verdict was handed down,to petition herfor a review with a “Why?” —I did not want to!
.However far awayshe was,she stood close beside me, in my heart;today, though she is right beside me,she is very far away!
.I am jealousof the cloudsthat break up and drift away —because Icannot become nothing at all!
.Every daywhat I pray foris only one thing:that for a little while at leastmy mindshould think about me!
.In the crevices of memoryI searched.Like an eel, even her memoriesslipped through my handand would not be caught!
.From now on,in every woman who passes meI will look for a trace of you!
.In the damp night airmy plant of memories, growing, held one flower today —and that one too was for her!
.Whereverher memories lie buried —so many, so manypoem-flowers!
.The poems I first wrotefor her to see.Today everyonesees them —everyone but her!
.Even being alonecomes in many kinds. What I want nowis the kind that holdsno memories of her —solitude!
